This program is designed for those students who are seeking entry-level positions in legal secretarial work. Students are trained to become highly competent personnel in positions of responsibility as legal secretaries in law firms, commercial companies, and government agencies.
This program is designed to train students for entry-level positions in medical secretarial work. In addition to developing keyboarding and shorthand skills, emphasis is placed on medical terminology. Typing and transcription of medical reports and case histories are stressed.
The Office Technology curriculum is designed for those students who wish to learn about the field of office technology, from the basic theoretical concepts to actual hands-on experience with modern word processing machines. Emphasis is placed on office skills, as well as on more advanced word processing techniques. Upon completion of this course, students will be qualified for entry-level positions as word processing operators.
